This example shows part of a flowchart I derived from the third-party API to show the expected behavior of the waveform generator. I analyzed the third-party API, example programs, and e-mail trail, asked engineering to run the hardware interface, and finally asked engineering to send the results to the third-party vendor for verification. After a few iterations, the resulting documentation was accurate enough that engineering used it in specifying a new product release.
